Four young people share a small apartment in Leblon, in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro. They have very different personalities and life stories, but similar dreams and needs. They end up developing a strong friendship and begin to support each other. Their dramas, conflicts, dreams, and relationship difficulties are the raw material for the stories presented in each episode of Ciranda Cirandinha, painting a picture of the behavior of young people in the late 1970s, disillusioned and in conflict with previous generations.
